Conditions and assumptions
It is assumed that:
- the assigned route is free of obstructive obstacles;
- the load is equipped with the necessary lifting eyes and lashing points, and can be properly supported;
- the loading and unloading sites are easily accessible, even in cases of high ground pressure.
Permits – Lead Time
Applying for a transport permit takes 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the location, the dimensions of the tank, and the workload at the relevant authorities.
Even after a permit has been granted, an authority along the route may temporarily place the permit on hold. Possible reasons include urgent repair works following an incident, postponed or brought-forward road works, or other unforeseen circumstances.
